Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Aventzo ("Aventzo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit aventzo.com (the "Site") or use our services (the "Services").
Aventzo is based in Sweden. Our Services are currently offered to customers located in the United States.
1. What We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Waitlist information: email address, social media handles/links you provide voluntarily.
- Onboarding information (only after you choose to become a client): full name, mailing address, phone number, and other details necessary to provide the Services - for example, information needed to identify and remove your data from third-party platforms or data broker sites.
- Communications: any information you send us directly (email, forms, calls).
- Technical information: basic website analytics (e.g. pages visited), collected in an aggregated, non-identifying way where possible.
We do not collect more personal data than is reasonably necessary to provide the Services ("data minimization").
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Assess which protection services are relevant to you;
- Coordinate with our network of trusted technology partners on your behalf;
- Communicate with you about your waitlist status, onboarding, or ongoing service;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. How We Share Your Information
To deliver the Services, we may share the minimum necessary personal data with carefully selected technology partners who perform specific tasks on your behalf (e.g. data broker removal, account security, content takedown). We only share what each partner needs to complete the relevant task.
We require partners we work with to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable law. We do not share your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Services or as required by law. Waitlist information (email, socials) is retained until you unsubscribe or we complete onboarding. Onboarding information is retained for the duration of our engagement plus any period required for legal, accounting, or security purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Request deletion of your data;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).
California residents additionally have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Aventzo does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, and limiting data access to personnel who need it to perform their role. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International Data Transfers
Because Aventzo is based in Sweden and our clients are located in the United States, your data may be processed in both the EU and the US. We take steps to ensure any such transfer is conducted in accordance with applicable data protection law.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date.
